We started the first of several fall tournaments on October 30th hosted by Joe Foy. There was a good turnout with nice steelhead landed. The fishing was a little spotty as the water was high and a little warm. There was a total of 10 boats, 22 fishermen, and over 20 fish weighed in, totaling over 104 pounds.
● Ben and Denny Knoll took first place, 22lbs 12oz. They also the big fish as well 10lbs 1oz.
● Second place went to Jeremy Knapper, 20lbs 10oz.
● Third place went to Joe Foy and Don Omen 18lbs 8oz.
● Fourth place went to Nick Hard 13lbs.
We had 10 boats , we had 17 fisherpeople and 3 young anglers . All 3 of the Young Anglers caught nice bluegills and went home the their own fishing pole and a trophy in hand.
• Don Omen took the 5 best panfish with 4 lbs-8 oz, all Croppie.
• Steve Bolhuis took the 5 best bluegills with 2 lbs-4-1/2 ozs.
• Justin Kling took largest predator fish with a 1lb-4oz large mouth bass.
Great time was had by all . Special thanks for the cold drinks at the weight in by Jeff Root. Hope to see everyone again next year . FISHON!
Attendance at Connie McGowan Invitational was just over 60 people. Fifteen boats entered the contest. A total of 240 fish weighing 256.56 lbs. were caught. A huge thank you to everyone who helped at the tournament and those who came out and fished.
